The Zeppelin Wireless has been upgraded considerably since its last iteration as the Lightning dock-equipped Zeppelin Air —not just cosmetically, but also in terms of audio performance. The Hindenburg disaster was an airship accident that occurred on May 6, 1937, in Manchester Township, New Jersey, United States.The German passenger airship LZ 129 Hindenburg caught fire and was destroyed during its attempt to dock with its mooring mast at Naval Air Station Lakehurst. The ‘Air’ in the Zeppelin’s name comes from the inclusion of support for AirPlay, Apple’s music and video streaming technology. This means you can now stream music wirelessly from an iTunes-toting device, including a Mac or PC. Only an iPod Touch, iPhone (3GS or 4) or iPad running Apple’s iOS4.2 and above will stream using AirPlay. The 'NT' in Zeppelin NT stands for 'new technology'. The 'Eureka' features a rigid airframe, covered in the same high-tech material used to make NASA spacesuits. The airship is filled with non-flammable helium and has been designed for optimum safety and comfort.

Home for the Airship 'Eureka' is historic Moffett Field, near San Francisco. Moffett Field is a former airship base, located deep in the heart of Silicon Valley. The field is home to the prestigious NASA Ames Research Center. Flights also depart from Long Beach and Oakland.
